Anxiety Treatment for Military

Reclaim your operational edge. Resilience Illinois provides clinical tools to manage service-related anxiety and high-pressure stress.

Managing the Pressure of Service

In the military, high levels of alertness are a requirement, but when that alertness turns into persistent worry or panic, it becomes a liability. Anxiety treatment for military personnel at Resilience Illinois is designed to help you differentiate between tactical awareness and clinical anxiety. As a TRICARE authorized provider, we help you manage the physical and mental symptoms of anxiety so you can remain mission-ready and resilient.

Support for Military Stressors

Performance Anxiety

Overcoming the fear of failure or intense pressure associated with leadership, testing, or high-stakes duty assignments.

Generalized Anxiety (GAD)

Addressing the constant state of "being on" that can lead to burnout, sleep issues, and physical health problems.

Panic & Phobia Support

Evidence-based techniques to manage acute panic attacks and avoidant behaviors that interfere with your service.

The Referral Process for Active Duty

1
Initial Report: Consult with your PCM or MTF provider about your anxiety symptoms.
2
Referral Request: Ask for an authorization for community-based care at Resilience Illinois.
3
Objective Intake: We utilize the GAD-7 assessment to establish a clinical baseline for your anxiety levels.
4
Skill Acquisition: Learn CBT-based tools to disrupt anxious thought patterns and regulate your nervous system.
5
Readiness Maintenance: Regular follow-ups to ensure your anxiety is managed and your duty status is protected.
ANXIETY PRO-TIP: Anxiety in the military often masks itself as "high-functioning" perfectionism. If your need to be perfect is causing physical symptoms like chest tightness or insomnia, it is time to use your TRICARE benefits for a clinical refit.
COMMON PITFALL: "Self-Medicating." Many service members try to manage anxiety with alcohol or over-working. Seeking professional treatment is the only way to address the root cause while maintaining your career trajectory.

Your Peace of Mind is Mission Critical

Don't let anxiety dictate your career or your life at home. Our military-focused team is ready to help you develop the tools you need for long-term stability. Call today to verify your TRICARE eligibility.
