Command-Supportive Care

We work within DoD guidelines to ensure your care is coordinated with your MTF while protecting your professional standing.

The Active Duty Referral Process

1
MTF Consultation: Discuss your concerns with your Military Treatment Facility (MTF) provider or PCM.
2
NAS Referral: If the MTF cannot provide care within 28 days, request a Non-Availability Statement (NAS).
3
TRICARE Authorization: Humana Military or Health Net issues a referral to Resilience Illinois.
4
Clinical Intake: A comprehensive assessment focused on your current duty status and recovery goals.
5
Readiness Reporting: We provide necessary clinical updates to your MTF to ensure medical readiness compliance.
READINESS PRO-TIP: Active Duty members on TRICARE Prime always require a referral from their PCM to see a civilian provider. Seeking care through the proper channels ensures your records stay updated and your "Fit for Duty" status is managed correctly.
COMMON PITFALL: "Duty-to-Warn Limits." While therapy is private, providers must notify your command in cases of threat to self, others, or mission safety. We discuss these specific military transparency rules in your first session.

Your Resilience is the Mission

Don't let mental health struggles compromise your performance or your peace of mind. Our TRICARE-authorized team is ready to support your recovery. Contact us today to coordinate your referral.

Can I get intensive treatment (IOP/PHP) while on active duty?

Yes, but it requires coordination with your command for time away from duty and an specialized authorization from TRICARE.
